WWII: A Gibbing Paradise.
Well, over the weekend I picked up Company of Heroes. Now, I must say, this is one of the most pro RTS games I have ever played. It's Dawn of War, but even better. With Nazis to shoot. And Tanks. God I love tanks. Anywho, so here I am, playing a quick round before I go out to give a speech, and I had made a Panther tank. For those who don't know, the Panzer MK V "Panther" was, alongside the Tiger, one of the most deadly German tanks of the war. It was primarily used as a tank destoyer, and, from what I witnessed, had horrendous effects on infantry. Here I am, guiding my little tank of pwnage, and I get it to target a group of Allied infantry. The turret slowly traversed, and then...

All I see is arms and legs flying away, and a torso with head spiraling into the air. I was disgusted at my own deeds. Soon after my tank was anal raped by a pair of 57 mm AT guns.
I must admit though, the Allies more closely reflect my playing style. I'm not really one for playing a race that requires intense micromanagement, so the allies, with their units who each specifically do one thing, rather than the Axis who can change their squads to different roles, aligns to that. The Germans seem to have a lot of specialization with their everything, what with different tiers, officers, bunches of tanks, etc. Meanwhile, the Allies rely on the venerably Sherman for most of their work. Plus I love the T-34 Calliope Sherman. It looks so awesome, and is so amazing for artillery. Both combined = t3h shit.
That aside, I spoke in front of teachers, parents and students tonight at Grade Nine Parent's night. For a moment, when Kathleen pulled out her prepared speech, I freaked. I did it all Johnny On The Spot. Alas, I was congratulated on my speaking, I'd like to think I did a fairly good job. I also shamelessy advertised Band to everyone. For which the music teachers love me. But aye, I think I may write some stuff down from now on, just as a little reference.
Well, I think that's it for now. Probably going to head to bed soon. Leadership camp tomorrow, WEWT! Should be awesome. Right.
Good night, internet.
